The USF is a patriotic tribute to the spirit of those Special Operations Soldiers who defend our nation daily.

About Our Fund

We are an ALL-VOLUNTEER, non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization, and since our establishment in 1993 we have honored the service and the sacrifices of our Fallen Special Operations Soldiers by awarding merit based post-secondary educational memorial scholarships to the Daughters, Sons and Spouses of America’s most elite Fighting Force. Our History

Established in 1993, the Unit Scholarship Fund honors those Special Operations Soldiers who selflessly serve and sacrifice in the defense of our great Nation, by providing merit based Undergraduate/Graduate School Scholarships to our Special Operations Families.

Our Merit Scholarship Application Process

The USF Scholarship Application will be made available on January 1, 2024.

You can request an application by completing your online form. The deadline for submitting your application, for the 2024-2025 academic year, is February 7, 2024. Any applications or documentation postmarked after that date will be ineligible.

The Unit Scholarship is a truly labor of love, however love alone will not fund our scholarship awards. Every year, we strive to raise funds through various functions and sponsor donations to support the educational needs of our Special Operations Families.
